The Role
As Design Lead, you’ll take creative ownership of education projects from inception to completion, managing teams and setting design direction. You will be a key client contact, ensuring the highest standards of design, sustainability and user experience in schools, colleges and universities.
Key Responsibilities

Lead concept design and stakeholder engagement for education projects

Manage junior architects and technicians to deliver coordinated outputs

Liaise with clients, contractors and local authorities

Champion sustainability and inclusivity in design

Present proposals at client and community meetings

Monitor project quality, programme and budgets
Skills & Experience

ARB registered architect or equivalent

Proven track record in education sector design

Strong leadership, communication and presentation skills

Ability to inspire and mentor others

Commercially aware with excellent client-handling skills
