Walker and Sloan are proud to be working with a well-known Marketing Agency in Birmingham as they are keen to bring on a Digital Account Manager to the team on a full time basis.
The Digital Account Manager will drive digitalisation through all client activity to support Wyatt in accelerating Brand & Business Value Creation, and support the Cluster’s Account Directors in driving account growth through the development and delivery of digital services (to increase share of wallet with existing clients),
Cross section of Principal responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities to create agency differentiation by continuously monitoring the Social Media landscape
- Keep abreast of SEO, Social and Digital Content developments
- Perform in-depth research and multichannel analysis across a range of specialist digital marketing activities, including lead generation, on-page optimisation, link building, keyword research, organic and paid Social and PPC, UX, conversion data and ROI analysis
- Coordinate the digital dimension of the Cluster in support of new business development, ideas generation,strategy and pitch presentations
- Contribute to and/or oversee projects and reports for designated accounts
- To support and drive the digital audit and KPIs/performance review process
- Support the team, helping them devise, plan, execute and manage digital marketing strategies for a variety of clients, campaigns, and projects.
- Build highly valued and meaningful relationships with key client stakeholders
- Contribute to agency revenue by promoting digital as a core aspect of client growth and development
- Provide insight, advice, training, and coaching to the Cluster and the wider business as required,
- Use expertise and insight to recommend ideas, tactics and channels which drive differentiation, solve client challenges, and help them achieve their operational or strategic business objectives.
- Champion the use of mixed content in Search and Social Media programmes, by working with designers and videographers to achieve effective visual and video content.
- Contribute to the Agency’s new business development programme, through participation in presentations and pitches, attendance at credentials meetings, as well as supporting the development of case studies and portfolios.
- Ensure best-in-class capability in content creation, and data & analytics to help drive campaign success and client satisfaction.
- Provide consultancy to the Cluster on digital planning and delivery to help maximise reach, engagement, and cost-benefit.
- On designated accounts, take ownership of client revenue targets and forecasts and act as CRM with responsibility for building exceptional relationships
- Oversee on-time campaign delivery, co-ordinating agency teams and liaising with and managing outsourcing partners to fulfil all projects on time, and to high quality standards.
- Lead or attend client meetings as required, either alone or with other members of the account team, to take briefs and present results, research, or proposals.
- Developing and setting performance and value metrics for every campaign.
Technical knowledge, professional qualifications, and experience:
- A consultative communicator, comfortable with technical and non-technical audiences, both within the agency and externally with clients.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, in writing and in person.A digital generalist and evangelist, passionate and pro-active in researching and embracing emerging trends and ideas. A passion for digital marketing, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of relevant SEO, Social Media, Content Marketing and Data tools (including but not limited to Google Analytics)
- Able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the industry our clients operate in and be able to advise clients on the best way to achieve their business objectives.
- Able to write effectively in different formats, including long and short form, on and offline.
- Experience in researching, designing, and implementing SEO improvements, including technical, on page and content recommendations
- Experience in the basic processes/stages of website design and build.
- Experience of managing successful digital campaigns, either within a marketing agency or in- house.
- Strong team-working skills, including the ability to lead from the front and by example.
- Proven account handling capability – with the ability to remain focused on customers and quality. Commercially astute, with exposure to budget management
- Proven ability to coach, mentor and nurture individuals.
- Proficiency using MacOS.
