Role Overview
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the commercial delivery of major infrastructure, education, and residential projects.
- Overseeing cost planning, procurement, and contract administration.
- Providing accurate financial forecasting and cost reporting to clients.
- Managing NEC, JCT, and other contract frameworks.
- Identifying and mitigating project risks to ensure on-time, cost-efficient delivery.
- Supporting business growth and client development in the Oxford office.
- Leading on sustainability and value-engineering discussions with design and delivery teams.
About You
- Minimum 2 years’ PQS / consultancy experience.
- MRICS (or working towards chartered status).
- Strong understanding of construction methodology, cost planning, and procurement.
- Proven track record in budgeting, value engineering, and commercial reporting.
- Skilled in cost management software (e.g. CostX, iTWO, CADMeasure).
- Experience working under NEC or JCT contracts.
- Excellent communicator who thrives in a collaborative, client-facing role.
- Passionate about sustainability and the future of the built environment.
