Role Overview
As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will:
- Lead site inspections, assessing building conditions and identifying defects.
- Produce high-quality, detailed reports with clear, actionable recommendations.
- Manage projects across multiple sectors including prime residential, healthcare, education, heritage, and leisure.
- Liaise confidently with clients, contractors, and stakeholders — acting as a trusted advisor.
- Ensure compliance with all building regulations, statutory obligations, and H&S standards.
- Maintain rigorous project documentation and uphold quality assurance processes.
About You
- MRICS qualified (or actively working toward chartered status).
- Proven experience leading surveys and managing multi-sector projects.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and regulatory compliance.
- Commercially astute, client-focused, and confident in front of stakeholders.
- Exceptional analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with CAD and industry-standard surveying tools.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
- Bonus: Awareness of sustainability, energy efficiency, and building performance assessment.
