Walker & Sloan are working with an outstanding regional construction contractor to recruit a Senior Estimator to support the delivery of major construction projects across the South West.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected contractor delivering large, complex schemes up to £100m, playing a key role in shaping successful bids and securing future work.
🏗️ The Role
As Senior Estimator, you will take a leading role within the pre-construction team, preparing competitive and accurate tenders for major construction projects.
Key responsibilities:
• Preparing cost plans and detailed tender submissions
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical information
• Engaging with the supply chain to obtain competitive pricing
• Identifying risks, opportunities and value engineering options
• Supporting bid strategy and tender presentations
✅ About You
• Proven experience as a Senior Estimator or experienced Estimator
• Background working for a main contractor
• Experience pricing large construction projects
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
