The Opportunity

Lead on LVIA, EIA inputs, and planning appeals for significant, high-profile projects. You’ll shape landscape strategy, advise clients, and mentor colleagues—building a national profile in landscape planning.

Role Overview

You will:

• Lead LVIA and environmental assessments for large, complex schemes.

• Advise on visual impact, mitigation, and landscape strategy.

• Prepare and present evidence at appeals, hearings, and inquiries.

• Oversee detailed landscape designs and planting schemes that support planning outcomes.

• Liaise with planning authorities, legal teams, clients, and multi-disciplinary colleagues.

• Contribute to bids, thought leadership, and business development.

• Support and mentor junior team members.

About You

• CMLI (essential) with significant UK LVIA/EIA/appeals experience.

• Outstanding report writing, presentation, and advocacy skills.

• Excellent knowledge of UK planning policy and procedures.

• Vectorworks welcomed (not essential); natural leader with commercial awareness.
