The Opportunity:
Walker & Sloan are proud to be partnering with a respected, medium-sized residential contractor to appoint a Senior Site Manager for a brand-new 16-unit Housing Association scheme based in Somerton.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take full site responsibility from groundworks through to handover, working with a company that values quality, teamwork, and professional development.
The Role:
As Senior Site Manager, you will take ownership of the project and be responsible for:

Day-to-day site management and delivery of the project to programme

Managing all trades and subcontractors

Ensuring H&S compliance and quality control on site

Working closely with the contracts manager and commercial team

Holding regular progress meetings and maintaining site documentation
-
Liaising with local authorities and clients where necessary
The Ideal Candidate:
We’re looking for an experienced Site Manager with a proven background in residential construction, ideally including:

Experience managing Housing Association or affordable housing projects

A track record of delivering schemes from start to finish

SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS (Black or Gold card preferred)

Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

The ability to work autonomously and maintain a high-quality standard
