🧱 The Role
- As Senior Site Manager, you will operate as a true No.1 on projects typically valued between £2m–£3m.
- You will take full responsibility for site operations, programme delivery, health & safety, subcontractor coordination, and overall project execution – reporting directly to the senior leadership team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Full site leadership from pre-start through to practical completion
- Managing programmes to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Leading and coordinating subcontractors and site teams
- Maintaining exceptional health & safety standards
- Ensuring quality control and high specification finishes
- Acting as the main on-site point of contact for clients and consultants
- Driving a positive, professional site culture aligned with company values
✅ Ideal Candidate Profile
This role would suit an experienced Site Manager ready to step up or an established Senior Site Manager looking for greater autonomy within a growing contractor.
You’ll ideally have:
- Proven experience delivering commercial construction projects as a No.1 on site
- Experience on projects in the £1m–£5m range
- Strong programme management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and leadership ability
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid qualifications
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset is essential – this is a role for someone who takes ownership and leads from the front.
