The Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join a long-established family-run contractor delivering hospitality refurbishment, fit out and construction projects across the UK.

Projects range from fast-track refurbishments through to extensions and new build schemes across pubs, restaurants, hotels, gyms, spas and leisure environments. Project values range from £50k to £5m, with programmes typically running between 2 weeks and 9 months.

This role would suit a hands-on Site Manager who enjoys fast-paced delivery, travelling nationwide and taking full ownership of projects on site.


Role Overview

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing projects from site set-up through to completion.
  • Coordinating subcontractors, trades and suppliers.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.
  • Managing site health & safety and enforcing company procedures.
  • Driving programme and productivity on fast-track projects.
  • Maintaining quality standards and finishing details.
  • Liaising with clients, consultants and contracts management teams.
  • Managing site documentation, reporting and progress updates.
  • Supporting successful handover and client satisfaction.

About You

  • Experience as a Site Manager within refurbishment, fit out or construction.
  • Background in hospitality, retail or leisure projects preferred.
  • Comfortable managing fast-track refurbishment and fit out schemes.
  • Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and site compliance.
  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away regularly.
  • SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, Temporary Works and Asbestos Awareness essential.
