Senior / Technical Coordinator – Worcestershire – High-End Residential
Walker & Sloan Recruitment are working with a bespoke residential contractor who specialise in beautifully crafted new-build homes, barn conversions, and heritage restoration projects across Worcestershire and the surrounding counties.
We are supporting them with the appointment of a Senior / Technical Coordinator to join their growing team and take a key role in delivering technically challenging and design-led residential schemes.
Role Overview:
As a Senior / Technical Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the technical delivery of multiple residential projects from pre-construction through to handover. This is a client-facing role and ideal for someone who enjoys detail, takes pride in traditional construction, and can bring technical solutions to life through coordination and proactive input.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage design coordination between consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams

Liaise closely with planning and building control officers to ensure regulatory compliance

Provide technical advice during pre-construction and on-site delivery phases

Review technical drawings and specifications, resolving any clashes or issues

Support procurement teams by advising on technical specifications and value engineering

Ensure all technical aspects align with quality standards, budgets, and timelines
What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in a Technical Coordinator or Design Manager role (residential experience essential)

Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and traditional building methods

Confident working with external consultants and leading meetings

Good problem-solving ability with a detail-driven mindset

AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software knowledge would be beneficial
